Ferienpension bei Stenze is located in the middle of the wine village of Senheim, about 200 meters from the Moselle. This authentic wine village is characterized by the many winegrowers with opportunities for wine tasting, a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful hiking trails. The guesthouse is quietly situated on edge of the wine mountains. We are very happy that we were able to take over this guest house from January 2019 from the Stenz family. They have made this guesthouse (from 1989) into a beautiful guesthouse.
Our guesthouse is characterized by a relaxed atmosphere and different types of rooms, most of which are above average in size. The equipment of the 11 rooms may also be slightly more luxurious than you would expect from a guest house, but judge for yourself. Three rooms have a private balcony. Each room has its own seating area and TV. In addition, our guesthouse also has a spacious apartment for max. 4 people and 2 single rooms. You can relax on our two general balconies, in the lounge or in the breakfast room, where we can provide you with a drink on request. In the evening the bar is open for you.
From 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. we provide an extensive breakfast where you will lack nothing. Next to the breakfast room is a spacious balcony, where you can relax and enjoy in peace the view of the vineyards. There are several good restaurants in the village within a few hundred meters.
Senheim is located in the middle of the Moselle area, close to the historic towns of Beilstein (6 km), Zell (20 km) and the well-known tourist resort of Cochem (13 km). The area is characterized by sloping wine mountains, beautiful authentic villages and the meandering river "Moselle". There are flat cycling- and hiking trails along the Moselle river, but for those who are looking for a challenge there also are plenty of opportunities due to the rugged landscape. Do you want to park your bike during your stay? This is possible in our garage, where there are also charging points for an electric bicycle.
From the guesthouse you quickly walk through the village in the middle of nature, with beautiful views over forests and the canal. Up in the village there is a Skulpturenpark which is definitely worth a visit.
In Senheim you will find a very nice wine museum with possibility for wine tasting, a campsite, a marina and also a boarding point for various boat trips.
Did we already convince you? We have already found a lot of fun and relaxation here. Will you come and enjoy with us?
With kind regards from
